After selecting a rate for your order, you can generate a shipping label directly in CommerceShip.
Label basics
- Labels are generated for US domestic and outbound international shipments.
- Supported carriers include USPS, FedEx, UPS, and Canada Post.
- Labels can be printed directly or downloaded as PDF.
- Some carriers support logo and data customization on labels.
International labels
For international shipments, CommerceShip generates the label and required customs forms. You will need to provide item descriptions, HS codes, and declared values for customs clearance.
Address verification
Before generating a label, CommerceShip verifies the ship-to address using USPS address validation. This catches errors like wrong ZIP codes or missing apartment numbers before they result in surcharges or failed deliveries.
If address verification flags an issue, review the suggested correction before proceeding.
