How tracking works

After a shipping label is generated and the carrier scans the package, tracking events appear automatically in CommerceShip. Events are standardized across carriers so you see consistent status updates regardless of which carrier is handling the shipment.

Tracking statuses

Shipments move through stages like label created, in transit, out for delivery, and delivered. CommerceShip normalizes these statuses across carriers so you do not need to learn each carrier's terminology.

Sales channel sync

Tracking data is pushed back to your connected sales channels automatically. When a shipment is delivered, your ecommerce platform is updated without manual intervention.
